  • Directly supervises application development professionals
  • Leads structured methods to analysis, design, development, test, and implement
  • Evaluates development needs, allocate resources and ensure adherence to technical standards
  • Accountable for administrative management of direct reports and reporting of work progression
  • Manage team performance, development and building a strong high performing team culture
  • Manage project deliveries, managing risks and addressing issues with time fixes
  • Experience with software life cycle management and process
  • Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and motivate team members
  • Drive best practices, fundamentals, coding standards, and alignment with Alpine’s overall software strategy
  • Establish and enforce the tools, techniques, principles and practices of the development department
  • Identify opportunities to reuse enterprise technology services
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Drive differentiation into the organization to create long-term competitive advantage
  • Support the long-term growth strategy, vision, and mission

Technology skills:

  • Experience with Agile development, Scrum framework preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Technical skills to work with Enterprise Architects to convey design patterns and solutions
  • Experience with Server and Client-side programming languages and frameworks (C#, JavaScript, Angular)
  • Execute action items resulting from Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions to avoid future production defects
  • Ability to define, structure and plan work independently
  • Cross-functional relationship building skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Pro-active leadership style

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors in - electronic, technology, engineering or computer science
  • 5 years - hands on development experience in PHP, frameworks and code repository, version control tools
