Tasks:
- Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, and network devices
- Proactively manage and maintain application, servers, switches, firewalls, and desktop environments
- Deploy application changes, enhancements, upgrades, cron jobs and backups
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
- Assist with hardware, telecom and software vendor evaluation
- Provide after-hours support for infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
- Define and document best practices, M&P's and runbooks
- Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls
Technology skills:
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platform
- Hands on server management: windows, linux, unix, IOS and Android app
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors in - electronic, technology, engineering or computer science
- 2 years of managing cloud based applications, servers and network
