Tasks:
- Work with the Backend App Development team to meet the project requirements
- Responsible for leading frontend design and delivery, creating highly scalable components
- Follow common programming patterns: html5, iOS, Android, Jquery/HTML5, PHP/MySQL
- Test, debug, and maintain software throughout lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
- Learns whatever is necessary to get the job don
- Has great passion for data driven improvement and optimization
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Must have the ability to work in a multicultural team
- Implementing new features within Localize’s core product
- Help define new product requirements & specifications
- Create, modify, extend Node.js backend APIs to power new functionality and features
- Diagnose and resolve bugs within the existing codebase
- Willingness to spend time learning and working with complex systems and legacy code
- Adaptable, analytical thinker who can work autonomously
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- Optimize applications for maximum speed
- Design mobile-based features
- Create quality mockups and prototypes
- Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Technology skills:
- Frontend: Javascript, Backbone.js, Redux, Handlebars, Less, Underscore
- Backend: Javascript, Node.js, Express.js, Mongoose.js
- Datastores: MongoDB (Mongoose.js ODM, MS SQL
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors in - electronic, technology, engineering or computer science
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year real hands on experience
